On May 28th and May 29th, 2025, Elo will release new OS updates across its Android 10, 12, and 14 devices. Android 12 updates will be released on May 28th, while Android 10 and Android 14 updates will follow on May 29th. These updates include feature enhancements and bug fixes to improve device performance and usability. These updates will be available for download on the EloView cloud portal as a dropdown and will become the default OTA download on EloView and OEMConfig as of June 5th, 2025. Please reach out to your Elo support contact for any additional questions or to request access to a direct download of this update.

New features and enhancements:

  • I-Series 4 Standard and Value - Android 10
    • Resolved an issue where Elo devices went offline after migrating from EloView 3 to 4
  • I-Series 4 Standard and Value - Android 12
    • Resolved app crash on M51 devices by updating SDK to support SetBCR & ScanBCR APIs
    • Resolved an issue where app-switching between customer app and payment app caused fallback to control panel.
  • Elo Pay 7" and Elo Pay M100 - Android 12
    • This release delivers feature parity with the previous I-Series 4 Android 10 release (5.000.030.0053+p, January 2024). All applicable features, improvements, and fixes from that release are included for these platforms.

    • This release delivers feature parity with the previous I-Series 4 Android 12 release (6.000.013.0045, September 2024). All applicable features, improvements, and fixes from that release are included for these platforms.

As always, your devices will never prompt for an update or auto-update. Once the update is available, devices can be updated from the EloView Portal or at the device-level from the EloView Control Panel. Other MDM users can leverage Auto and Manual Update feature of Elo OEMConfig to update the devices.
